In Greenland, there are many icecaps that cover the surfaces of the water. These are slowly starting to melt. As a sailor, I have come out here to see the rate of the melting of the ice caps. As I look around they seem to be getting very small. They are melting very fast which is going to cause the water level to rise a great deal. As a sailor I wonder what the water level is going to be as I observe the ice caps. Looking around, it is very cold and there is mostly just ice and water. There is mountains and land but this is the ocean. There is mostly marine life under these ice caps such as tropical fish. The ice is created form fresh water and then under neath is saltwater and ocean. If the water level were to rise from the melting of the ice caps in Greenland, this could cause the Earth to become much cooler. This would occur because of the water level rising and cooling the air. This envrionment helps marine life to survive and live in the ocean but it is hard because of the very cool and chilly waters. This reveals that Greenland's waters are coloser to the north and farther from the equaitor because the ice caps that rest on the waters of Greenland.
