The things in learned fom science

I enjoyed Astronomy because it was about space. And see saw a lot of space photos. The thing I really enjoyed the most was the Big Bang theory.Because of a molecule or something blew up to make the universe. And also how it is still expanding today.

There was only two thing I like in weather and climate. That was cloud formation because I always wondered how clouds were formed. And I also enjoyed the lab where we got sand and water to see which one got warmer quicker. Also to see which one would cool down faster.

I didn't really like geology. Because all we did was look at rocks and i dont like to look at rocks. But other than that it was ok.
I had a lot of fun with weathering and erosion.Because of the pod cast we did for a couple weeks and when we showed the class what we did.

I didn't really enjoy earths waters because of the research we had to do.On our separate topics and how we had to comment on someones blog post about their water and presenting our topic in front of the class.

I thought eighth grade science was a lot of fun. And all of what we learned and all the work we did was worth it. But over all it was a pretty good year in science.

Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs both get there water from the Rocky Mountains. But Manitou Springs basically gets its water from manitou springs reservoir with 75% of its water from snow. The water that Colorado Springs receives travels more than 200 miles. The water is stored in water tanks in Mesa and Crystal Hills.

Water Cycle Activitie

1. What is the water cycle?
The water cycle is when water vapor is evaporated from oceans, rivers lakes, ect. That is when water goes together into the sky and makes precipitation.Into lakes, rivers, oceans, ect. Then the cycle goes on and doesn't end.
2.Does the water cycle have a beginning or end?
The water cycle doesn't end because the cycle keeps on going because of evaporation and evaporation makes precipitation so the cycle keeps on going.
3.Starting with a puddle on a sunny day, describe how water might move through the water cycle and eventually fall back as rain.
Well on a sunny day the water would would rise up and make evaporation that would turn to precipitation.

Annotated Bibliography

http://www.solarpanelinfo.com/
On this web site I learned that you can reuse solar energy.I also learned that there was two types of solar energy cells solar cells and photovoltaic cells. And how solar power works and how it saves electricity. I also learned how the the sun gives off electricity.

http://www.solarhome.org/solarpanels.html
On this web site i learned that carbon admissions would decrease. And a green energy source. Also how were using all of the coal.

http://www.solarenergy.org/resources/youngkids.html
On this web site i learned that solar panels. Can conserve energy and renew energy so you can use it over again. And also learned that there were endless ways to use solar energy.Like we can use the sun's energy to heat things like our houses, the water in our houses, the food in a solar cooker, and so on.

On this web site I learned that solar panels can save you money every month. Up to 75% a month. And how solar panels and energy work. Also how solar panels help save over a hundred or thousands a dollars a year.

solar power

How do solar panels work?
Solar panels are devices that can make light into electricity. The average person should get solar panels because it would save electricity and the person who has solar panels would save on there electricity bills.
The worst thing that can happen with solar panels are that if people didn't have solar panels would be that there paying more money for their electricity bill a month.
The best thing that can happen with solar panels are that they can save you money and renew energy.
